Diego Maradona's first No. 10 jersey worn at "Boca Juniors" was sold for $27,000 at an international auction. Sport24.az reports that the press service of the organizing institution announced this.
Maradona wore the jersey in an official match against "Colon" on July 26, 1981. Its authenticity and origin have been documented.
According to the auction organizers, the certificate of authenticity was presented by former striker Carlos Morete, who received the jersey directly from Maradona as a gift.
