Idman.Biz reports that the head coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, said this at a press conference, citing "Qarabagh" as an example.
"There are no big and small nations. Look at "Qarabagh". They play in the Champions League and score points. Azerbaijan has potential in the future, they have good players. We saw this in the game between the Azerbaijani national team and Ukraine," Deschamps said.
Didier Deschamps also emphasized that he had a great time in Baku and thanked the Azerbaijanis for their hospitality:
"Today the stadium was full of fans and energy."
