Inter defender Denzel Dumfries' return to the field is delayed. Sport24.az reports that the Dutch footballer's injury is more serious than expected.

Dumfries, who injured his ankle in the match against Lazio on November 9, was expected to have a minor injury. However, the pain in the 29-year-old right-back's leg has not subsided. Therefore, the footballer will undergo surgery. The experienced player will return to the field in March next year.
It should be noted that Inter transferred Denzel Dumfries from PSV in the summer of 2021. The member of the Netherlands national team has scored 3 goals in 17 official matches this season for the Milan representative.
