In the 4th round of the European zone qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup, the Danish national team won against Greece.
Idman.biz reports that the match held at the "Parken" stadium in Copenhagen ended with a score of 3:1.
Rasmus Hoylund opened the scoring in the 21st minute of the match managed by English referee Michael Oliver. In the 40th minute, Yoakim Andersen increased the difference, and just a minute later, Mikkel Damsgaard scored the home team's third goal.
The Greek national team was only able to reduce the difference in the 63rd minute with a goal from Christos Tzolis.
It should be noted that Denmark currently leads Group C with 10 points, while Greece is in third place with 3 points. In the next round, Denmark will face Belarus at home on November 15, and Greece will face Scotland on the same day at their home ground.
