The reason for "Araz-Nakhchivan"'s delay to the match with "Sabah" in the 19th round of the Azerbaijan championship has been determined.
The club's press secretary Mahal Mammadov informed İdman.Biz about this.
According to him, the delay was due to head coach Andrey Demchenko's pre-match meeting, and the team entered the field approximately two minutes late.
"This is the first such incident in our club's history. The head coach simply miscalculated the time," said Mahal Mammadov.
Taking the delay into account, AFFA fined "Araz-Nakhchivan" 3,000 manats. Thus, each minute of Demchenko's extra instructions cost the club 1,500 manats.
