"Araz-Nakhchivan" today was a guest of "Shamakhi" in the opening match of the 25th round of the Misli Premier League. Sport24.az reports that after the match held at the Shamakhi City Stadium, the head coach of the Nakhchivan team, Andrey Demchenko, held a press conference. The Ukrainian specialist commented on the match they won 1:0 as follows:
"In the first two games before the break, our task was to take 6 points. I congratulate our team on this. We fulfilled the task assigned to us.
As for the game, we played well in the first half and kept the match under control. This means that there is something in the team. The end of the second half did not go well. I say this because the game could have ended in a draw. The opponent had good opportunities. We also defended well.
Difficult games await us after the national break – "Sabah", "Neftchi". We will recover during the break and prepare for these games. There are also plans to hold a test match.
We have injured players. We are giving them time to recover."
