Dembo Darbo was one of the legionnaires released by "Neftchi" during the inter-season break. According to information received by Sport24.az, the Gambian forward did not leave the "white-blacks" for free.
Since Darbo had a contract with the club, he demanded compensation from the management. After lengthy negotiations, an agreement was reached between the capital's representative and the Gambian regarding the payment of his 3-month salary.
It should be noted that Darbo's monthly salary at "Neftchi" was $45,000.
