Barcelona's sporting director, Deco, has answered the question regarding the conditions under which the club will extend the contract of their 37-year-old striker, Robert Lewandowski.
İdman.Biz reports that the Catalan club's contract with the Polish player expires in the summer of 2026.
"I think time will tell. I believe that Robert has his own personal plans, and we will see what happens after that. Before anything happens, we also need to resolve the Financial Fair Play issue; we need to clarify the future of the team. Once we clearly understand everything we can do, we will address existing issues like Robert's situation," Deco said.
Robert Lewandowski moved to Barcelona from Bayern Munich in 2022. Since then, the striker has won two La Liga titles, three Spanish Super Cups, and one Spanish Cup with the Catalan team. This season, the Polish player has played 29 games for the club in all competitions and scored 13 goals in all competitions.
