Barcelona's sporting director, Deco, has commented on Dro Fernandes' move from the Catalan club to PSG.
According to İdman.Biz, Deco believes that if Dro continues his career at a rapid pace, he will suffer serious damage from this transfer in the future.
"There is no need to make a big deal out of Dro's departure. He was just one of the players in the main team. But if he continues his career at a rapid pace, it could seriously harm him in the future."
PSG had no influence on Dro's decision. It was his own decision. We have good relations with PSG and we negotiated directly with them. They did not activate the buyout clause in his contract," Deco was quoted as saying by Sport.es, citing TNT Sports Brasil.
The 18-year-old Spanish footballer has signed a contract with the French club until 2030. He will wear the number 27 jersey for the Parisians. Fernandes rose through the ranks of Barcelona's academy and joined the main team in 2025. This season, he has made five appearances for Blaugrana and provided one assist.
