Barcelona's sporting director Deco has identified Bayer Leverkusen defender Alejandro Grimaldo as one of his main transfer targets. The Catalan club consider the 30-year-old footballer the ideal candidate to compete with Alex Balde on the left flank.
İdman.Biz, citing journalist Ekrem Konur, reports that while Bayer initially demanded 30-35 million euros (60-70 million AZN) for the player, this amount is expected to fall to 25 million euros (50 million AZN). This is due to Grimaldo's desire to return to his home club and the fact that his contract with the German club expires in the summer of 2027.
It should be noted that Grimaldo, a graduate of the Barcelona academy, has scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in 40 matches this season.
