Barcelona's sporting director Deco has announced his support for Joan Laporta as a candidate for club president.
Idman.Biz reports that he has announced that he is involved in Laporta's project in the run-up to the elections.
"I am involved in Laporta's project because I believe in him. If everything goes well, I will stay and continue my work. But the most important thing is not me, but the players and the club," Deco emphasized.
He recalled that Laporta was also president during Barcelona's glorious era, and he also played for the team during those years.
Deco added that he supports the option that he considers the most correct for the club at the current stage.
