"Qarabag" club will make a decision at the end of the season regarding Nigerian footballers Muyideen Olude and Toheeb Abiodun, who play in the U-19 team.
This was stated by Nail Karimov, manager of the Football Academy of the Aghdam representative, in response to the request of "Report".
He reminded that these players are currently playing in the AFFA Youth League:
"The duration of their contract is "1+1" years. The decision will be made at the end of the season based on the opinion of the coaching staff. If their development potential in the team is seen as high, the term of their contracts will be extended. Otherwise, we will part ways. Will there be a Reserve League in Azerbaijan next year? This is questionable. The Nigerian footballers will turn 19 and will not be able to play in the U-19 League. The issue remains open at the moment. Most likely, a final decision will be made in April."
The club official also said that if the contract is renewed, the footballers could also be involved in the main team of "Qarabag".
It should be reminded that Muyideen Olude and Toheeb Abiodun were involved in "Qarabag" U-19 team for the UEFA Youth League games at the beginning of the current season .
