Marseille head coach Roberto De Zerbi has protested against the French Super Cup final against PSG being held in Kuwait. Sport24.az reports that he made a statement to L'Équipe about this:
"My opinion remains unchanged. This is a subjective thought. The French or Italian Super Cup should be held in the respective country, in front of the clubs' fans.
But I will go to Kuwait because it is my job and we are proud to play this match. I have no problem with Kuwait. They will do their best for us. But I still think that Super Cup matches should be held in front of the clubs' fans."
It should be noted that the PSG - Marseille match will take place on January 8.
