Former Manchester United player David de Gea, who is now a goalkeeper for Fiorentina, has praised the work of Michael Carrick, the current head coach of the "Red Devils". Sport24.az reports that in an interview with TNT Sports, the Spanish goalkeeper also assessed Manchester United's chances of qualifying for the Champions League:
"Carrick is doing an incredible job. He's a great guy, he understands the players well and is easy to communicate with. Manchester United are currently winning a lot of games and playing good football. I hope they can qualify for the Champions League and continue to improve. I would like to see the team back at the top and fighting for trophies."
Manchester United are currently third in the English Premier League table with 55 points. The team's next match will be against Leeds on April 13th.
