Bayern president Herbert Hainer has spoken about the future of French defender Dayo Upamekano.
Idman.Biz reports that the club's head said in a statement to Sky Sport that he is optimistic that a new contract will be resolved soon.
Hainer stated that Upamekano feels very comfortable at the Munich club.
"I hear he is very happy here. He feels incredibly comfortable in the team and is also very happy with his relationship with the head coach," the president said.
Negotiations regarding Bayern's defender are ongoing and the parties are expected to reach an agreement before the end of the season.
