"Kapaz's situation is deplorable. Football in the second largest city of Azerbaijan is in this state." These words were said by Davud Karimi, the former goalkeeper of "Kapaz", in his statement to Sport24.az.
The veteran goalkeeper shared his thoughts on the current situation of the "yellow-blues":
"In my opinion, the reason is the radical changes in the squad in the new season. This happens every year. Hopefully, "Kapaz" will recover and delight its fans again. When Adil Shukurov first came to the team as head coach, the club's situation was not good. He was able to get the team out of this situation. Transfers were not on time, Adil muallim could not gather the team, there was a decline, and he resigned and left. This season, he gathered the team himself, his trusted players were with him. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. Adil Shukurov is a good coach. This can happen to any coach. The main thing is that "Kapaz" recovers after this. I believe that Ganja football will remain in the Premier League. I would very much like the new head coach to be local. We have specialists who can get the team out of this situation. Azer Bagirov, Tarlan Ahmadov have proven this as head coaches."
It should be noted that "Kapaz" lost in all matches of the first 5 rounds of the Misli Premier League.
