Former Manchester City midfielder David Silva shared his thoughts on head coach Josep Guardiola's work method. Sport24.az reports that he made a statement about this to Cadena SER:
"I used to play a lot on the wing, although I sometimes moved to the center. But Pep pulled me into midfield. It was a perfect position for me. Working with him was on a different level. Because he already knew everything the opposing team was going to do, he was ready for everything, and everything in the match was resolved in your favor. This is a different level. His worst side is that he doesn't give the player much freedom. But in other respects, he is a genius."
It should be noted that Silva spent 4 seasons at Manchester City under Guardiola. The Spanish midfielder participated in 436 matches in all tournaments as part of the "citizens", scored 77 goals and made 136 assists.
