Former Manchester United and England midfielder David Beckham spoke about the national team's prospects for the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports that in the World Championship, England will play in Group L with Croatia, Ghana, and Panama.
"To be honest, I think we're in a great position, the best position we could be in. We have a very young, talented team, and we have a great captain who is in the best form of his career. With Harry Kane, we can overcome a lot. He's obviously a great leader, and I think that Thomas [Tuchel] is very careful in the squad selection and in managing the team. To be successful in this World Cup, England needs to pay attention to every detail," talkSPORT quotes Beckham as saying.
The 2026 World Cup will be held this summer in three countries: the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
