Former England national team footballer David Beckham has undergone surgery.
According to "Report", citing "The Sun", this was due to an injury he sustained 22 years ago while playing for the national team.
D. Beckham was injured in his wrist during a friendly match against the South African national team in 2003. At that time, a screw was inserted into his wrist, which was supposed to dissolve after a while.
But this did not happen. The 50-year-old former midfielder has lived with pain in his wrist.
