- Do you follow the games of your former team?
- Yes. I watch all the matches of "Qarabag". I watch both the local championship and the European Cup matches. I was very happy there. For this reason, it is a club that I have special affection for.
- "Qarabag" qualified for the main stage of the Champions League. You also reached the group stage during your time. What can you say about this?
- I am very happy about this. I know how important this success is for the club and the country. You should enjoy it. Because you are also in the most important club tournament in the world. "Qarabag" deserves to play there.
- Did you believe that "Qarabag" would achieve this again?
- They have a very good team now. I also watched their matches against the Hungarian representative "Ferencvaros" in the play-off. They excited me a lot in the return match. But in the end they achieved their goals and I am happy for it.
- Did you congratulate your former team?
- Of course. I spoke with Elvar, the club's translator. I conveyed my congratulations through him.
- Do you still have contact with any football players in Azerbaijan?
- Yes. I occasionally talk and chat with some of my former teammates. In the current squad, I keep in touch with Shahrudin Mahammadaliyev. I have very good memories of Baku and "Qarabag".
