Official information has been released regarding the injury of Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos. The Spanish footballer was sidelined in the last La Liga match against Osasuna, which they lost 1-2.
Idman.Biz reports that medical examinations revealed a tear in Ceballos' right heel muscle. According to information from COPE radio correspondent Miguel Angel Diaz, the 29-year-old footballer will need at least seven weeks to return to the green field.
The game against Osasuna was also psychologically difficult for Dani Ceballos. Namely, in the 90th minute of the match, the opponent scored the winning goal after he lost the ball. The footballer apologized to the fans for this mistake on his social media account and took responsibility.
Due to the injury, Ceballos will miss important matches in the Champions League against Benfica, as well as in the national championship against Getafe and Atletico Madrid.
