The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has obliged former Brazilian national team football player Dani Alves to pay compensation to the Mexican club "Pumas" in connection with a sexual assault case.
"Report" reports that the club's press service has released information about this.
The Mexican representative terminated the contract with the defender after he was arrested in 2023 on charges of sexual assault. In May 2024, the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber ruled that the Mexican club had to pay Alves compensation for the early termination of the contract.
It was reported that FIFA has now ruled in favor of the club.
It should be noted that the 42-year-old former defender was transferred to the Mexican club in 2022.
