The trial that led to Dani Alves spending 14 months in prison on charges of sexual assault is not yet fully over. Sport24.az reports that although the Brazilian footballer was initially acquitted, the Barcelona prosecutor's office disagreed with this decision and filed an appeal with the Spanish Supreme Court.
This means Alves could face Spanish justice again.
It should be noted that the incident occurred in December 2022, and Alves was arrested on January 18, 2023.
