The Main Department for Combating Cybercrime (MDCC) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted another operational-technical measure against the illegal online sale of tickets for the "Qarabağ"–"Ajax" football match, which will be held on December 10 at the Tofig Bahramov Stadium in the next stage of the Champions League. Sport24.az reports that Shahin Mammadov and Huseyn Guliyev, who pre-purchased tickets online and from points of sale and then tried to sell them at a higher price than their value on various pages on social networks, as well as in the "black market", were detained. Appropriate measures have been taken against these individuals.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, citizens who want to watch sports competitions in the stadium are once again advised to purchase tickets only at official points of sale, as well as by ordering QR or electronic tickets online.
It should be noted that people who face fraud related to the sale of fake tickets on social networks can report this to the police.
