Miguel Merentiel and Rodrigo Battaglia scored for Boca Juniors with a 6-minute difference. Angel Di Maria and Nicolas Otamendi scored for Benfica.
Andrea Belotti received a red card in the 72nd minute for the Europeans. In the 88th minute, Argentine club defender Jorge Nicolas Figal was sent off.
Note that Boca Juniors will face Bayern Munich on June 21, while Benfica will face Auckland City on June 20.
