The management of "Araz-Nakhchivan" club is dissatisfied with the team's early exit from the Azerbaijan Cup. According to Sport24.az, the Nakhchivan representative's management had prepared a serious motivation package for the players before the 1/8 final stage match against "Kapaz", which resulted in a defeat in extra time.
Thus, if the team won the Azerbaijan Cup, it was planned to distribute more than 500,000 manats among the players, coaching staff and other employees of the club.
However, having said goodbye to the cup, "Araz-Nakhchivan", as in the previous season, will try to realize the goal of qualifying for European cups through the championship. The team, coached by Elmar Bakhshiyev, is currently in 6th place in the tournament table with 23 points. "Zira", which is in 3rd place, and "Sumgayit", which is in 4th place, have 27 points each.
