Al-Nassr and Portugal national team forward Cristiano Ronaldo made a statement about his future career after receiving the "Athlete of the Year" award at the "Globe Soccer Awards" ceremony held in Dubai on December 28. Sport24.az reports that the star footballer spoke to the "Goal" portal about this:
"It is very pleasant for me to be at such a gala evening with the participation of famous people of the sports world. This is one of my favorite events, because here I meet people who make a name for themselves.
It is difficult to continue playing, but I still have the enthusiasm and motivation. Whether I play in the Middle East or in Europe, I want to win trophies and achieve the goal that everyone knows. I am sure that I can do it if there are no injuries.
It should be noted that Ronaldo wants to score 1000 goals in his career. He currently has 956 goals in his account.
