Cristiano Ronaldo, the star striker of Al-Nassr, has been recognized at the Globe Soccer Awards. Sport24.az reports that the footballer has been named the Best Middle Eastern Player of 2025.
The Portuguese striker won the award in this category, beating strong competitors such as Karim Benzema (Al-Ittihad), Salem Al-Dawsari (Al-Hilal), and Riyad Mahrez (Al-Ahli).
The experienced forward achieved another personal milestone in 2025. He managed to surpass the 40-goal mark in a calendar year for the 14th time in his professional career.
It is worth noting that Al-Nassr, captained by Ronaldo, is putting on a fantastic performance in the Saudi Arabian championship this season. The team is leading the tournament table with 30 points, having won all 10 of their opening matches.
