"We didn't show our best game." These words were said to Sport24.az by Sabah football player Coy-Lens Mickels.
The 31-year-old striker shared his thoughts on the draw (2:2) against "Araz-Nakhchivan" in the IX round of the Misli Premier League:
"Although we had many scoring opportunities during the game, we couldn't take advantage of them properly. Instead, we made a simple mistake during a corner kick in the last minute of the game and lost important 2 points. In my opinion, it was a game we should have won."
The German forward spoke about the refereeing in the match:
"The penalty given by the referee in the last minute was also strange. We have to forget this match and focus on our next game. I believe that we will be able to leave the game with "Gabala" with 3 points."
