Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has stated that the players had no conflict with Xabi Alonso.
Idman.Biz reports that Alonso left his position as head coach of Real Madrid in January and Alvaro Arbeloa replaced him.
"None of the players put Xabi Alonso in a bad position. I think we did good things together. Some said that we hate tactics, video analysis... Listen, my coach was Antonio Conte, who worked one hour a day (on tactics) and I didn't object, because we are professionals and work is my priority.
I think the first few months with Xabi went very well, then things started to get worse. This happens in football.
I read some things in the press and I thought, "Oh my God". You think this club is a kindergarten and we do what we want, but that's not true. We respect all coaches, medical staff and everyone in general. I think a lot of the criticism is unfair. Some of the information is true and I have no problem with it, so I'm telling you that we are also to blame and we allowed it," Courtois said.
