Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois spoke about the insults directed at Vinicius Junior after the victory over Athletic.
Idman.Biz reports that the Belgian goalkeeper, commenting on the issue, cited the recent experiences of Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo as an example.
"The insults against Vinicius? It's difficult. He tries to stay calm, but there is a limit to that. We are also human. Look at what happened to Araujo," Courtois said.
Courtois recalled that Araujo was subjected to mass insults on social networks after receiving a red card in the match against Chelsea:
"Think about the amount of insults he received after the Chelsea match. Then people wonder why the footballer's psychological state is disturbed."
The Barcelona management gave Araujo a few days off due to that pressure.
