A Barcelona court has decided to conduct an investigation into Joan Laporta, president of "Blaugrana".
Idman.Biz reports with reference to Sport.es that the official is suspected of fraud.
According to the publication, the victim accuses the "Blaugrana" president of defrauding her of 100,000 euros. Through a female bank agent, the woman invested money in two companies linked to Laporta, as well as club vice-president Rafael Yuste, former treasurer Javier Sala-i-Martin, and Joan Olivera, former director of Catalan TV3 and owner of "Reus Deportiu" FC. The victim was promised a 6% return, but the investment did not pay off.
It should be reminded that the media previously reported that Laporta was suspected of defrauding the club of 4.7 million euros between 2016 and 2018.
