German clubs are in second place. They spent $1.28 billion on purchasing new players. The top "three" is completed by Italian clubs with $1.2 billion.
In 2025, the total transfer costs of clubs amounted to $13.08 billion, which is an increase of 52.3% compared to 2024 ($8.59 billion).
It should be noted that a total of 24,558 transfers were carried out last year, which is 7.7% more than in 2024. A total of 5,283 clubs participated in the transactions.
