The first-round match of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage between Cote d'Ivoire and Mozambique has concluded.
İdman.Biz reports that Cote d'Ivoire won the match with a score of 1-0. The game took place at the "Marrakesh" stadium in Morocco. The head referee of the match was Samuel Uvikunda from Rwanda.
Amad Diallo scored the only goal of the game in the 49th minute.
In Group F, Cote d'Ivoire and Mozambique are together with Cameroon and Gabon.
The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations is being held in Morocco. 24 national teams divided into six groups are participating in the competition. The tournament will last until January 18. The current Africa Cup of Nations champion is the Cote d'Ivoire team.
