Napoli head coach Antonio Conte spoke about striker Rasmus Hoylund, who scored the first goal in the third round of the Serie A against Fiorentina.
Idman.biz reports that the game ended with a 3-1 victory for Napoli.
"Hoylund is only 22 years old. We brought him from Manchester United and, like McTominay, he brought us success. We knew his qualities, Rasmus has great potential and he can improve. It is clear that Hoylund has great prospects.
We signed Hoylund to replace Romelu (Lukaku), who was out for a long time. Napoli controlled the match. We need a player who can hold the ball - this is important for all teams who want to gain an advantage in games," - Goal quotes Conte.
Napoli leased Hoylund from Manchester United in the last transfer window. In the summer of 2024, the Italian club bought midfielder Scott McTominay from the Mancunians, who was named the best football player of the Serie A in the 2024/2025 season. In the same season, Napoli became the Italian champion.
Napoli is Qarabag's opponent in the UEFA Champions League. The teams will meet in Italy on November 25.
