Former Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has responded to the words of former Blues striker Diego Costa, who called the Italian specialist a "nervous type".
Idman.Biz reports that Conte coached Chelsea from 2016 to 2018.
"He's always nervous, he never stops being nervous, it's no fun to train with him...he probably has no sexual life because he's such a nervous type," Costa said.
"To be honest, I am not one of those who waste energy reading what the newspapers write. I understand very well that in football there are intelligent and clever people, stupid people, so I don't waste time reading articles by either intelligent or stupid people.
Diego Costa played under my leadership for one season, so I can talk about football. Together we won the league and he wanted to leave three times in one season. I know that. I don't know what happened to him after Chelsea," Football.London quotes Conte as saying.
Under Conte's leadership, the London club won the English Premier League title and the English Cup. Costa played for the Blues from 2014 to 2018.
