Conflicting reports have surfaced in the media regarding the results of the examination conducted as part of the investigation into Sadettin Saran, the president of the Turkish club "Fenerbahçe".
İdman.Biz, citing DHA agency, reports that a positive result for cocaine was recorded in the hair sample of Sadettin Saran, which was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute as part of the investigation into narcotics, and the report was submitted to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
At the same time, the "Anadolu" agency reported that the test results of Saran's blood, urine, and nail samples were negative within the same investigation.
It is worth recalling that Sadettin Saran was summoned to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to testify as a suspect in this investigation, and then he was directed to the Forensic Medicine Institute, where various medical samples were taken from him. After the procedures, he was released.
It is noted that on the same day, law enforcement agencies also searched Saran's house, but there is no detailed information officially disclosed to the public about this.
After being released, Sadettin Saran watched the "Eyüpspor" - "Fenerbahçe" match at the stadium and made a statement to journalists after the match:
"Am I the best person in the world? No. Am I flawless? No. Have I committed a crime? No. If the state calls us, I will come immediately. I am not like others. There is no account that we cannot give".
