"Wolverhampton" has reached an agreement with "Fluminense" for Colombian national team striker John Arias. Sport24.az reports that the English club has agreed to pay the Rio de Janeiro representative 17.25 million euros.
In the Club World Cup held in the USA, Arias helped "Fluminense" reach the semi-finals.
He played 229 games for the club in five years, scored 47 goals and provided 55 assists. The Colombian has never played in Europe before. John was also on "Galatasaray"'s transfer list. The 27-year-old footballer's contract with "Fluminense" was until June 30, 2027.
Arias has played for "Patriotas", "Laneros", "America de Cali", "Santa Fe" clubs.
