"We believe Nariman will be successful in his new team."
These words were said by Khayal Abbasov, the first coach of Azerbaijani national football player Nariman Akhundzade, who was transferred to the US club "Columbus Crew".
The expert, recalling that the 22-year-old striker took his first steps in "Khazar Lankaran", emphasized that he is a talented player: "Nariman started training under our leadership with my brother Royal at the age of 9. At that time, he trained with people 2-3 years older than him. He will now live the life of a legionnaire, which made us very happy. I believe that he will show himself in a good light in the US club as well. It is every coach's dream that their student plays abroad," he said in a statement to AZERTAC.

He said that the transfer to the US club was the right decision for the football player:
"Head coach Gurban Gurbanov has already expressed his opinion about the transfer. He is a professional coach and his opinions are always important to us. We also believe that this is the right decision."

X.Abbasov stated that Nariman Akhundzade, despite his young age, played successfully in "Qarabag":
"He scored 24 goals in the Agdam club, where he debuted at the age of 18, became the national champion 3 times, and won the cup once. He played in the Europa League and the Champions League play-off stage. We believe that these successes will continue in his new team."
It should be noted that Nariman Akhundzade has signed a contract until June 2029. After receiving an international transfer certificate and visa, he will join the camp of his new team.
