"Cologne" has parted ways with head coach Lukas Kwasniok. Sport24.az reports that the German club's official website has released information about this.
Club management decided to part ways with the 44-year-old head coach after a 3-3 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach. This was the team's seventh consecutive winless game. In addition to Kwasniok, his assistant Frank Kaspar has also left his post.
Currently, the team's "helm" has been temporarily entrusted to Rene Wagner, who also serves as an assistant coach.
It should be noted that Kwasniok was appointed head coach of "Cologne" last summer. Under his leadership, the team played 29 games, won seven, drew eight and lost 14. The city's team is currently 15th in the Bundesliga, two points above the relegation zone.
