Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer will miss the upcoming matches. The English footballer is being treated conservatively by the club due to a recurrence of a groin injury.
According to Idman.biz, Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca said that Palmer will rest until October. Therefore, he will not participate in the matches against "Brighton", "Benfica" and "Liverpool".
Team doctors have stated that Palmer will recover by mid-October. If his injury heals completely, he will join training after the international break and have approximately three weeks to get back into shape. Thus, Palmer may be ready for the Champions League match between "Qarabag" and "Chelsea" to be held in Baku on November 5.
It should be noted that the final decision will depend on his recovery process and condition in training.
