Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer will be out for another six weeks due to injury.
Lent.az reports that the club's head coach Enzo Maresca said at a press conference:
"We are trying to protect Cole's situation as much as possible. The most important thing is that he is in full form when he returns. The medical staff are not magicians. We hope that six weeks will be enough for recovery. We have to monitor the process gradually. I'm sure everything will be fine. He seems calm. He is working to heal his injury and is going through all the necessary treatment stages."
It was previously reported that the 23-year-old English footballer had a groin problem. He scored 2 goals in 4 games this season.
Palmer last appeared on the field on September 20 in the match against Manchester United (1:2) and was replaced in the 21st minute.
It should be noted that Chelsea will face Qarabag in Baku on November 5 in the 4th round of the main stage of the Champions League.
