Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer has broken his toe in an accident at home and will be unable to participate in the next two important matches.
Idman.Biz reports that head coach Enzo Maresca said Palmer will definitely miss the games against Barcelona and Arsenal.
Maresca added that the injury occurred accidentally at home and the player will need some time to recover.
"Although a broken toe is not considered a major injury, Palmer will not be able to appear in the near future due to the pain," the head coach emphasized.
This loss is considered serious for Chelsea, as Palmer has been one of the main figures in the team's attack building and creative line this season.
