Former Netherlands national team coach Nol de Ruyter has died at the age of 85. Sport24.az reports that the Dutch Royal Football Association's press service announced this.
De Ruyter was part of the national team's coaching staff at the 1988 European Championship. This team defeated the USSR team 2:0 in the final.
It should be noted that "Utrecht", coached by De Ruyter, became the Dutch champion in 1984/85.
