Today, a meeting of the AFFA Licensing Commission was held. Sport24.az reports that the documents of the clubs that applied to participate in the AFFA Higher Women's League in the 2025/2026 season were reviewed at the meeting.
After discussions based on Article 9 of the rules on licensing of Azerbaijani football clubs (Edition 2024), the AFFA Licensing Commission decided to grant a license to participate in the AFFA Higher Women's League to the clubs listed below:
"Liman" FK, "Sabah" FK, "Shafa" FK, "Tahsil 8" FK, "Umid" FK, "Zagatala" QFK.
Thus, the number of clubs that will compete in the Higher Women's League competitions in the 2025/2026 season has been completed to 12.
