Clubs spent a record amount of money in this year's summer transfer window.
"Report" informs that FIFA has released information about this.
The summer transfer window was open from June 1 to September 2, including a special period from June 1 to 10 in connection with the Club World Cup to be held in the USA.
During this period, just under 12,000 international transfers were carried out in men's professional football, which is a new record.
Club transfer spending rose to $9.76 billion, a record. Current figures exceed the amounts for the same period in 2024 by more than 50%.
