Following the first leg of the quarter-finals, the nominees for the Champions League Player of the Week award have been announced. Sport24.az reports that the press service of the continental football organization has released this information.
The nominees include PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Bayern Munich and Arsenal goalkeepers Manuel Neuer and David Raya, as well as Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez.
It should be noted that Khvicha scored against Liverpool (2-0), and Alvarez scored against Barcelona. Raya kept a clean sheet in the match against Sporting (1-0). Neuer made nine saves in the match against Real Madrid (2-1).
