On the eve of the Champions League play-off stage, Opta Sport analysts have updated their predictions for the winner of the tournament. Sport24.az reports that the favorite of the tournament for today is the English club.
London "Arsenal" has a 26.66 percent chance of winning the cup. has been selected as the main title contender. The English representative will face Leverkusen "Bayer" in the 1/8 final stage.
"Bavaria" is in second place in the ranking. According to analysts, the German giant has a 16.37 percent chance of winning the Champions League. The last winner of the tournament, PSG, is only in seventh place in the ranking. Their chance of defending the title is 4.32% lower than "Liverpool", "Manchester City" and "Barcelona". Interestingly, even "Chelsea", PSG's opponent in the 1/8 finals, is ranked higher than the French club.
"Real", who has won the Champions League the most, is in eleventh place in the ranking with 1.93 percent. "Galatasaray" and "Bayer", on the other hand, are candidates whose chances do not exceed one percent and are at the end of the list.
