The CIES Football Observatory research group has published a ranking of the 10 players (excluding goalkeepers) with the most minutes played in official matches over the past five seasons.
Idman.Biz reports that Real Madrid forward Kilian Mbappe is in sixth place with 25,199 minutes played.
The leader of the ranking is Gustavo Gomez, central defender of the Brazilian club Palmeiras. He played 28,194 minutes for the club and the Paraguay national team. In second place is Manchester United and Portugal midfielder Bruno Fernandes (27,634 minutes).
