Chelsea Football Club has sent an informal offer to French club Nantes for 18-year-old centre-back Tilel Tati.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to "L"Equipe" that the London representative was ready to pay 30 million euros (60 million AZN) for the young footballer.
Nantes rejected this offer. According to the source, if the transfer were to take place, Chelsea was planning to keep Tati at Nantes again on loan.
However, given that the winter transfer window closes on February 2, it is reported that the likelihood of this transfer happening at the current stage is low.
In the current season, Tilel Tati has appeared in 19 matches in all tournaments, but has not been remembered for his productive performance. The defender's contract with Nantes is valid until the summer of 2028. According to the Transfermarkt portal, his market value is 12 million euros (24 million AZN).
